Obama was to arrive that evening by train! FOREshadowing? I'm a Clinton supporter and I tooted my horn at the "Honk for Hillary" people.
Duane and I experienced the Lancaster Art Walk. We visited many different shops, ate at our favorite Lancaster bar (Lancaster Dispensing Company, we had Pesto and Brie and shared a veggie grinder and booze) and visited a scary artist studio. Good fun! The only thing is...it was like 84 degrees...IN APRIL. That is just wrong.

These shots now seem like they were foreshadowing the movie I watched when I came home, Another Earth, my new favorite "new" movie.
This is the worst candy I've had in recent memory. I love Good & Plenty, so I couldn't resist trying these. I couldn't be more disappointed. It is not candy coated licorice like Good & Plenty. It's just homogenous gobs of artificially colored corn syrup. Ordinarily I would be fine with that, but these taste terrible. First of all, the flavor combination is counterintuitive -- apple, orange, lemon, and cinnamon. Those don't like sound like they would go well together, and indeed they do not. Together they are disgusting. So I figured I would divide them up and only eat one flavor at a time. But no, even individually they are awful. The apple, orange, and lemon flavors all have a spicy flavor added to them. It just doesn't work. And even the cinnamon isn't good on its own. There is seriously nothing right about this candy. How was this ever approved for mass production?
