This place is like the foreshadowing of the apocalypse.
What happens when people leave? Mother nature slowly takes over. Graffitti shouts out to audienceless rooms. Things rust, rot and fall apart. And yet, the process can be absolutely beautiful.
Taken walking down the dirt road (Yes, dirt) close to Sunnyside Hutterite Colony.
It was just cold enough that we didn't get muddy, but warm enough to only need a light jacket. A perfect day.

Foreshadowing her now burgeoning career as a fashion designer here is my daughter aged 9, in the first photo shoot she totally controlled as art designer, one summer afternoon in the garden of 11 Christchurch Road London N8 - her home between 1987 & 1995.
She told me exactly what her pose would be for all of 35 shots and when I should take them!
So I've been the first in what I hope will be a long line of photographers she 'll command!
