Designed by the famous Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta and his son. Seen near the hotel I stayed at in the historic center. I like that part of the structure that juts out.

The loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a small, evergreen fruit tree that belongs to the Rosaceae family. Native to southeastern China, it is now cultivated in various subtropical and mild temperate regions around the world for its sweet, tangy fruits and ornamental qualities. The loquat fruit is oval or pear-shaped, typically measuring 3 to 5 centimeters (1 to 2 inches) long. A single loquat fruit typically contains 1 to 5 seeds, depending on its size and variety. Loquat seeds are typically oval or almond-shaped, resembling small, smooth stones. They are usually brown, with a glossy surface that can range from light to dark brown. Each seed measures about 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters (0.6 to 1 inch) in length and about 0.5 to 1 centimeter (0.2 to 0.4 inches) wide. Although the fruit is edible and has many culinary uses, the seeds are bitter and are not commonly consumed due to their hard texture and bitter taste.
