Just a couple of old scans... I may be offline for a while. My computer caught a virus that isn't detected by my antivirus software but it will copy itself onto all attached drives including external hard drives, USB sticks, memory cards, you name it, and mess with them so I can't get my files off the computer. Luckily I didn't plug my camera in since it happened, so it is still clean, but it ruined my external drive when I was trying to update my backups and infected both my computers. ~sigh~ Since the antivirus doesn't detect and clean it, I'm at a loss how to clean the computers or make backups of my files since everything I plug in gets infected, too. I lost the backups I had made since December last year. And here I thought I was doing good with having backups on two computers plus external hard drive. I never expected all three of them to get infected with a new virus that isn't even included in the newest antivirus definitions file.

Brother's Keeper Operation in Judea & Samaria
On the night of June 12, three Israeli teenagers suddenly went missing in Judea and Samaria. Our forces are relentlessly searching for them, operating under the presumption that they were kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists. These exclusive photos show the efforts of the IDF soldiers in Judea and Samaria.
The names of the abducted Israelis are Eyal Yifrach (age 19), Gilad Shaar (age 16), and Naftali Frenkel (age 16). Our mission is to bring them home as quickly as possible. We will do everything to #BringBackOurBoys

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) and its international partners conduct a military assault against a rebel stronghold on the Rainbow Ski-field near St Arnaud in the Tasman district during SK15.
Ex Southern Katipo 2015 (SK15) is a combined, joint, international training field exercise focussed on developing, exercising and evaluating the NZDF’s independent amphibious capabilities and ability to project forces anywhere in the South West Pacific. SK15 provides the opportunity to ensure continual preparedness to operate independently or with our coalition partners. The scenario involves a fictional South West Pacific country that has requested international intervention to restore law and order. The scenario allows for an emphasis on amphibious operations within the context of a larger stability and security operation.

Okay, in a series of hundreds pictures there is always your favorite, the one you like it most etc.
Well this one is not perfect but it's what I call the money shot. After reading tons of cycling magazines I realized that sometimes the most winning and beautiful pictures (stunning/wowing ones) from the "asked" pro photographer are not always 100% uber duper sharp, particular shot of components or other stuff, but are those shots which are 100% composed awesome and that capture the essence of a race or a moment.
This shot for me got it all...I finally composed an image great, no crop (I always try NOT to crop), good fill light, nice BG with also the funny road signals which accidentally and ironically say "turn right" LOL, the sweat by the cyclist, the fatigue you can see in his face, the very pushed sense of movement and nice leaning by the cyclist.
Well, if only one would contact me and give me real money for this shot....ahah.
Cheers and hope you like it at least half as I do.

Giro D'Italia 2011, 21° stage, Milano Chrono-timetrial
I was at the final stage of the Giro...Pass as always for the starting village to shoot some warm-ups, details and other cool stuff. Went with my buddy Cristian and we spend quite a few hours in the village, arriving at 11. We stayed there until 3.30 PM and after the village, while going back to the car, we snapped some panning shots in the first 4 km's. There, without people was absolutely awesome, scenery was incredible for some shots.
Then we jumped in the car and went to the city center where we got our final shots, some at Castello Sforzesco and others at the last 6 dangerous corners of the final km's right near the Duomo.
Enjoy the shots!
Stay tuned, more to come!
