Exercise Cobra Warrior 2019
For three weeks in September 2019, an air exercise took place at RAF Waddington. Unusually in the UK, it involved aircraft from the Israeli Air Force, namely seven F-15 Eagle fighters, and two KC-707 tanker support aircraft. Just a day before the fighters returned to Israel, I came out of 'retirement' to take a rare outing around the perimeter fence, to see what I could see.
