I was curious about this, and queried Teresia (http://www.flickr.com/photos/tea_time/), who advised that "Technically it should say "Fool for Christ". It references 1 Corinthians 4:10 "We are fools for Christ's sake." Paul was being a bit ironic. He also said (1 Corinthians 1.18), "For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
Guess this is a case of going one step beyond the bumper sticker.
My little niece went outside today and she found a rock that she is absolutely in love with! We can't get her to put it down. It just reminded me of someone who's just found something very valuable (hence the title). I love how simple children are.
This dendalion's core has a somewhat metallic glare, shining like pure gold...I guess one can broaden the expression and call it "Fool's Gold" in its own right, even though its not pyrite nor any related "goldlike" mineral :)
Richmond Castle had a Knights Tournament. As well as a handful of stalls showcasing various things, they had a tournament between 4 knights. Between the 1v1 tournament and the Grand Melee the Fool put on a show involving fire eating and "getting onto stilts in the most incompetent and convoluted way possible".
I actually really love this one and now that I'm looking at all of them, I'm thinking I should have used this one as the final version.
