Mynd tekin fyrir MÁV grúppuna, þemað að þessu sinni var Fools..Ég er ekki með neitt studio hérna heima þannig ég varð að notast við pils og fékk restina lánað..

Mér er enn hálf flökurt eftir myndatökuna gott hefði verið að hafa reykingamann til aðstoðar..

iPhone 5s in HDR mode, which works quite well. Close inspection reveals some smudged bits, probably because this was handheld (braced).

I was an absolute fanatic of geology when I was in High School. Took it at "O" level (in England), though I was really at an "A" level. Collected various rocks and minerals for years, and I think my favourite is Iron Pyrites in its various forms - cubic, etc.. Unfortunately, I think my skin colour reflected in the many "faces" of this specimen when I took the photo. Love the way the tiny Quartz crystals have formed in little nooks and crannies, just like wildflowers will do.

A fool on the street --- and he can recite Shakespeare

"She livin' in this lie with him

No more coffee in the morning

I'm wide awake while he sleeping in

Know that's why your calling

You woke up chasing feelings, healing, trouble dealing

Coping with the fact that your alone

It makes you miss my body

Touchin', kissin', squeezin'

He don't know you're worth your weight in gold

Look at you fallin'

Do you even know what your fallin' for?

I see you fallin'

You traded my heart for some fool's gold."

Having seen Eagle142's recent image of this spot, I thought it would be fun to post this postcard view from just over 100 years ago. The card was posted in 1906 and it is interesting to see that it is captioned "Fool's Nook" even at that time when the pub was the Royal Oak.

A students project (a small part of it) which had this amazing fools gold (real name escapes me), wrapped in copper wire. I love it!

hi beauti-fool

on my last day in israel i decided to take a long walk along dizengoff and south tel aviv, jaffa and the old city. i only had my 5d with lensbaby f8.0 attached and besides portraits of strangers and things of special interest graffitis on my list of main subjects to find. i learnt before that graffiti art is popular in tel aviv and i knew one of the famous street artist of tel aviv is dede (imdede.com/). in order to find his work and others i strolled through the streets and found a good amount of very creative colorful art with subtile humour, which in a special way appear to be more or less part of the building and its context. and i found this which i already photographed last year.
