14 - Fools
This was meant to be taken for the 1st of April but I've lagged behind a bit. I thought about setting up a prank and trying to photograph it in process but that seemed like an awful lot of effort.
Historically the word fool was used to imply jesters or clowns so I've used the Joker card to demonstrate it. I recruited a couple of very willing individuals to hold the cards to make it a more interesting image. The participants were not recruited because I think they are fools...honest!
Title change is thanks to some good natured goading and inspiration from Kiki and Kim .... in their comments, they were referring to the former title: " . "

The latest Fool offering is a neck-through version of the classic short-scale "student" guitar that players like John McLaughlin and Todd Rundgren adopted because it allowed them to stretch out for giant extended chords.
This character's name is Raquela. She's two years old, but she has the developmental skills of a 10-year-old. She loves fooling people. One of the things she likes to do is to wear a diaper to trick people into thinking she's not potty trained, when she in fact is.
Whilst the adults were getting serous I went off again to fool around with the kids and practice my miserable Swahili.

Baby, I know the story
I've seen the picture
It's written all over your face
Tell me, what's the secret
That you've been hiding
Who's gonna take my place
This gorgeous thing is a rhubarb fool. It's ridiculously easy to make. Precise measurements can be found here:

Me, I just took 3 gorgeous long stalks of ruby red rhubarb picked only hours ago, and cooked them with some sugar and a tiny bit of water. Once they sort of broke open and were all thready, I lowered the heat to a simmer, took off the lid, and let everything reduce down a bit. Adjust the sugar if you need to.
Meanwhile, I kept my Kitchenaid bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer. While the rhubarb was cooling, I took some heavy cream, a little sugar, and a tiny bit of vanilla and whipped. Once the cream was to a perfect consistency (not too runny, not too stiff), I folded in the rhubarb. And that's it.
Fools ignore the warning in the name on this one. Label blacked out to keep away from the R rating.
