The Swiss cheese fondue is traditionally prepared with a mix of half Vacherin and half Gruyere cheese (hence the name "Moitié-moitié", especially in the french-speaking cantons like Vaud, Valais, Neuchâtel,...), white wine, cornstarch and garlic.
Always happy to get one, at any season of the year, like today, shortly after the begin of the Spring. And we enjoyed it with freshly baked, home-made sourdough bread.
If that's not dedication for taking part to the Macro Mondays challenge?!... 😃

I don't know if it's tasty, I just didn't try it ;-))

So this is the first time I try this restaurant, it's called Fondue "melt away", located in Salhiya. The shop is tiny but so cute, I couldn't stop taking photos of it. Here goes the rest of them, in the comments.

It's my birthday today so mum came over last night and took us out for dinner. I try to order things I wouldn't cook at home when I go out and as much asI love cheese I didn't think I would make fondue. so here is truffled Toma cheese fondue.

Beef Fondue in Beef Broth • Fondue de Boeuf au Bouillon de Boeuf
fondue de chocolate
# 400g de chocolate ao leite em barra
# 100g de chocolate meio-amargo
# 1 lata de creme de leite light
# 1 cálice de licor de Amarula(opcional)
# frutas picadas ( banana, morango, kiwi, uva.. )
* Modo de Preparo
1. Derreta no microondas o chocolate, colocando num recepiente de vidro, próprio para microondas
2. Deixe em potência alta por 1 minuto, retire e veja se dá para mexer o chocolate até ficar bem derretido
3. Caso não dê, leve ao microondas por mais 30 segundos, vá repetindo o procedimento até que o chocolete derreta
4. Leve ao fogo médio ( do fogão) o chocolate e misture o licor e o creme de leite
5. Mexa até ficar com uma consistência cremosa
6. O importante é mexer sempre para não empelotar
7. Quando estiver pronto é só levar para o richaud e servir-se, espetando as frutas, e molhando na mistura
Caso você não seja muito chegado em doce, pode inverter a quantidade de chocolate ao leite com meio-amargo.
