Distant city: pandemic times
This is from a time when I took good photos (I think) but it was also one of the worst times, at the height of the pandemic, hundreds or thousands of people were dying every day, and I went out to take photos with two masks, alcohol, without touching anything, I walked for hours through the streets without drinking water, because I needed to record somehow what was happening.

Esta é de uma époda que fiz boas fotos (eu acho) mas também foi uma das piores épocas, no auge da pandemia, morriam centenas ou milhares de pessoas por dia, e eu saia para fotografar com duas máscaras, álcool, sem tocar em nada, andava horas pelas ruas sem beber água, pois precisava registrar de alguma forma o que estava acontecendo.

Sometimes I need to look at simple things, for a long time, simply admiring and realizing what life can offer. So rest eye and mind from the complexity and chaos of life. Contemplative Photography can be understood as an open, curious, non-judgmental state of mind, focused on just seeing. Combining photography and meditation, we open ourselves to just seeing, without judging, letting the simplicity, harmony and beauty of the ordinary emerge.

Contemplo calles, personas y piedras, entre ficciones y olvidos, inspirado en el poeta, quizás, percibo las sombras de los gestos de otros, la poesía del crepúsculo, una inquietud.
