I've got that right, don't I?
A few have mentioned they never tire of fall foliage shots and I reckon we'll continue to test that theory for a while. The winds over the last few days have done their annual duty, yet the oaks endure as they tend to do, the last to give up the ghost...tho some only do so with the arrival of new buds in the spring, somehow hanging on throughout our trying winter.
Another very nice day for late October, so off we go to the canoe to enjoy a relatively rare windless day.
Worlitz Gardens are located near Worlitz in the Saxony region of East Germany. Fall colors were glorious on this gondola ride.

I thought it was about time to put up another one from Louize's collection, and for me this is FANTASTIC!! I just love those shapes, colours and patterns!
Different side "wild side" of Luxembourg lake, no boats no fishing or hunting allowed here, really quiet place and maybe why bald american eagle is nesting here.
Our Canadian Maple "Crimson King" is looking beautiful in its Autumn colours.
Lots of gardening - keeping out of the way of the workmen. We are having our fair dose of fresh air!

These disheveled trees reminded me of the pictures (is.gd/TseCqF) of Bernie Sanders with unkempt hair. As a lighthearted homage to Bernie's campaign for the Democratic Party's nomination of its 2016 US Presidential candidate, I tagged the pictures of these trees as "FeelTheBern," the hash tag that signifies the movement that the campaign inspired.
