So for the Redux 2021 theme of choosing two I went with Foil (8/9) and Knot (9/27) could have been Bottle or Hole but Foil and Knot are the two! Frame is 1-1/2 inch square or 38mm square.
Macro Mondays theme for this week.
Just a fun photo for these hot temperatures......
Happy Macro Monday everyone !
Each of these origami foil butterflies are only 3cm across. In a colour reversal the silver butterflies float in a colourful world.
A gemstone? No, it is a small piece of cellophane foil photographed between two polarising filters.
Ein Edelstein? Nein, es ist ein kleines Stück Zellophanfolie das zwischen zwei Polarisationsfilter fotografiert wurde.
Lots of experimentation on this one and this was the very last shot of many! And this week I actually remember to add it to the Macro Monday group
Inspired by the Macro Mondays theme of 'Foil' I had fun with a foil crisp packet that I turned inside out and used the glossy clear inside to reflect some colour.
After scrunching the foil to create the creases, I used a plant catalogue and chose the page with some colourful tulips on to reflect onto the foil.

Placing bright colors near foil led me to discover new geometric worlds.
Opened a new roll of foil by pulling on the little red tab.

New Week - new Challenge! I a mreally so much pleased that we get each week a new theme which we can creativly present. For the new upcoming Theme called #foil i decided to take a macroshot of one of my favorite chocolates. Of course not the chocolate itself. No...the silver paper of it was my intention this time. So here we go...what you see is the foil of some Lindt chocolate.
Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

The capture above is foil with quite a smooth surface (originally) and a lovely dullish scratched looking sheen, As you can see (from the surface) I have scoured, my hope was to give a Quilted effect.
I would have liked (for my entry) foil milk bottles tops (red/gold/green) that the milkman delivered on the doorsteps over 60 years ago but sadly I could not find them.
I did play around with a few ideas but eventually, it was the " fabric look-alike" from "FOIL" I went for.
This Kingfisher was not playing the game. There was a perfectly positioned perch right outside the Delta Hide at Attenborough. This one decided on the reed bed across the water. ONE DAY !!!!!!!

all visitors and friends of my photostream, a heartfelt thank you for your comments and reviews, invitations and favorites
Like most abstracts, this one was a "mistake". I just wrapped a piece of colorful foil around a shot glass and there appeared all these interesting forms in the reflection. Hope you like the result.
