¡Vaya!. !Ya he me he excedido otra vez con el texto!. Se breve en tus razonamientos, que ninguno hay gustoso si es largo. (Don Quijote a Sancho). Don Quijote de la Mancha, Parte I, Cap. 21.

¡Eso es todo amigos!

(En). The History: Cold time of January 2008. I went for a ride with the Kawa Vulcan. Cold mist, despite being shortly 12 AM. I stopped a little off the road Sobarriba, area near Leon. I shot some photos and this is one, the portrait of a bike that hardly lets on.

Taking up: Take on a cold day, with cold hands because I had heated grips on the bike that day. There is no filter of any kind, except polarized. The fog was there as we see here. No black card, or hand or lens cap, or anything like it for the sun to appear as well. I look through the viewfinder, I like the framing and shooting. It was freezing cold and still had to go home.

Treatment: With Aperture. Original in JPG. Under the definition the maximum and step White and Black simply by removing saturation. Under slightly highlight and clarify some areas of shade and back then darken the midtones. The high tonal range so low maximum and average upload it slightly.

The frame is as is in the original.

Oops. I've already I have exceeded again with text!. Brief in your reasoning, that there is not tasty if it is long. (Don Quixote to Sancho). Don Quixote, Part I, Ch. 21.

That's all folks !!

Les Ardennes sous le brouillard

The fog was creeping across the ground and through this park the other morning. I took several shots, just trying out some different exposures and stuff, so sorry for the multiple shots. I had a good spot, looking out over the park on this ridge. It was a beautiful morning.

An hour later, the whole scene was covered completely with FOG.

2 Hour late start for schools this morning afforded me a little time to take the camera and find some fog photo ops. This is looking east toward the morning sun. You'll note the layer of fog has lifted just a bit.

"Also, as I lay there thinking of my vision, I could see it all again and feel the meaning with a part of me like a strange power glowing in my body; but when the part of me that talks would try to make words for the meaning, it would be like fog and get away from me."

~Black Elk

Happy Monday my friends! Such a beautiful and cool morning on the Wetlands! The fog and the bright morning light illuminated hundreds of dewy spider webs. The quote is a perfect as the Wetlands lie on Native American sacred ground.

It doesn't happen very often but when we do have fog, it's thick.

West Austin Meadow, Austin, TX

It usually does not get too cold in Austin. We do have a bunch of frosty mornings but we seldom get hard freezes. It seems this year is a bit colder than normal. I guess it balances out the abnormally hot summer we had this year.

This image was taken just after sunrise on foggy, frosty and cold (for Austin) morning.

Here is close up of the frost taken at this location.

The compass dial here says "Victoria, 8KM". Normally the city would be quite visible, but on this day it was socked in with fog.

This was it for color. It only got foggier!

It swallowed up everything in its path

The effects of misty morning fog have been very interesting this year.

Fog blankets the hills surrounding Cranberry Lake

Spring thaw and low pressure creates a heavy carpet of fog all day, and everything seems black and white.

Later in the evening the fog was combined with a shy sunset through the clouds.

Captured close up view of the settling fog on Granville st. Bridge in Vancouver, the last of my fog series I just found. I loved the colors from the street lights and traffic lights , very surreal.

A cool, soft start to this day.

Seeing fog and the sun from a different angle - from on my knees and I'm too old for that.
