Pictured is a 1/43rd scale model of a Ford Focus RS. I have converted it into a police vehicle which was loaned to forces across the county by Ford UK.
The model has accurate battenburg markings, high vis yellow bonnet wrap and number plates with GB identifiers.

The third generation Ford Focus was launched as a world car at the 2010 North American International Motor Show, as a 2012 model.a 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback, the 5 door Estate making its debut a month later at Geneva. Designed under the tenure of CEO Alan Mulally and his "One Ford" plan, which aimed to leverage Ford's global resources into creating more competitive vehicles that could be sold globally in each segment with minimal changes.The Ford Focus Electric at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2011 to compete with the Nissan Leaf and the Chevrolet Volt and announced the hot hatch ST model at the Paris Motor Show in September 2010 It became the Worlds best selling car in 2012 and is manufactured at plants in Germany, USA, Thailand, ChinaTaiwan, Argentine and Russia.
The Ford Focus mid-cycle facelift (Mk 3.5) was debuted at the 2014 Geneva Motorshow Revisions made to the body were thinner and sharper headlights, a new trapezoidal grille, giving the car a more aggressive appearance
The new third-generation RS model was revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show for the 2016 model year initially priced at around £31,000. Power comes from he new 2.3 EcoBoost from the Mustang updated to produce 350bhp driving all four wheels via Ford's all-new Torque-Vectoring All-Wheel-Drive system with a rear-drive unit designed by GKN, as well as upgraded suspension and brakes. Also the new Focus RS is be fitted with Drive Modes – including an industry-first Drift Mode that allows controlled oversteer drifts – and Launch Control. The RS will boast a model-specific aerodynamic package that helps to differentiate it from other Focus models. 2018 Focus RS was only available in 2 colors, Race Red and Nitrous Blue

Revealed in concept form at the 2008 Excel Arena, British Motorshow and launched in 2009. Contrary to speculation, the new Focus RS does not have twin turbochargers or all-wheel drive. The Duratec RS engine was upgraded to produce 305 PS (224 kW; 301 hp) and 440 N·m (325 lb·ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration was quoted to be under 6 seconds. The RS is all about the Ford-engineered 2,522cc five-cylinder engine found in the Focus ST, but it's been heavily modified. A larger Borg Warner K16 turbo now delivers up to 20.3-psi of boost, exactly double that of the 225-hp ST's engine. A new air-to-air intercooler has been developed as a complement, while the forged crankshaft, silicon-aluminum pistons, graphite-coated cylinder bores, 8.5:1 compression ratio and variable valve timing also up the power output. The car remains front wheel drive, but to reduce torque steer uses a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing LSD, and a specially designed MacPherson strut suspension at the front called RevoKnuckle, which provides a lower scrub radius and kingpin offset than traditional designs while avoiding the increased weight and complexity of double wishbone and multi-link suspension setups.[16] Ford UK claim: "It's as close as you'll come to driving a full-spec rally car (Ford Focus RS WRC).
At the rear a large venturi tunnel and a dramatic rear spoiler create a purposeful look. Focus RS available in three expressive exterior colours: Ultimate Green, Performance Blue and Frozen White. Focus RS has an exclusive 'Ultimate' Green classic 1970s Ford Le Mans Green of the Ford Escort RS1600 era.

Wakefield had it's fair share of Exotics and Tuners, but this was one matte black coloured car i didn't expect to see.
Coming out of an official building near the Bus Station, was this stunning Ford Focus RS500, a car of which i have not seen nor spotted before. 345 hp comes out of it's 2.5l 5-cylinder block, and an unlimited top speed of 165 mph. It's fast no doubt. This one has also been fitted with Mountune brakes (the RS500 was set-up by Mountune themselves) and a Miltek Exhaust setup, which sounded pretty awesome.

The Canon Demi is a 35mm half-frame viewfinder camera with a very high quality production standard. It was launched in 1963. It offers easy operations without the use of batteries, the lightmeter is a selenium cell.
Users can choose from symbols on the focus ring to determine distance from the subject. The outer ring is designed to operate a combination of aperture and shutterspeed.
By looking at the needle of the lightmeter, the photographer can match the second needle by turning the outer ring. The camera then uses a combination between f/2.8 and 1/30 sec and f/22 and 1/250 sec. for ideal exposure.
In fact, Demi is a French word for "half". And although it uses ordinary 35mm film, it takes two 24 x 18mm exposures on a normal full film frame. This means a 24 exposure roll will actually hold 48 separate half frame photos. Quite a savings in money. Economics was the reason for the half frame cameras of the sixties. Color film was very expensive in comparison the B&W of the day.
The Demi is a beautiful camera of the sixties. Yet it's styling was much ahead of its time. It looks more at home among the modern electronic point and shoots than it does among it's heavy rangefinder Canonet and SLR contemporaries. Its sleek, metal body panels wrap around, rounded corners giving the camera a comfortable feel in ones hands.
