This is a recreation of Allan Kaprow's 1967 Happening, "Fluids". It was installed by a group of volunteers at Angels Gate Cultural Center, in conjunction with other installations of the same piece around the city. LACMA, MOCA, and the Getty were all involved in this project.
Here are Allan Kaprow's original instructions for "Fluids":
“During three days, about twenty rectangular enclosures of ice blocks (measuring about 30 feet long, 10 wide and 8 high) are built throughout the city. Their walls are unbroken. They are left to melt”
The system consists of storage tanks for salt and fresh water, a reverse osmosis filtration system, and a series of pumps with external control that can deliver salt/freshwater with arbitrary concentration to the wave tank - Photo by Brian Pelton

I know her though a friend of Crystal's. We had a nice talk at the bar about Duran Duran and her 13-year-old son.
Have replaced the big single brake fluid reservoir with two smaller ones (one for each brake circuit).
The third one will hold the fluid for the hydraulic clutch release actuator once the new gearbox is installed.
The smaller reservoirs (from a Honda CR-V) make for a much cleaner installation.

These photos were taken near or along Pennsylvania’s and Maryland’s Allegheny Highlands Trail in route to the Big Savage Tunnel. I started my trip in Meyersdale PA, I then road to Frostburg MD. When I got there, I got something to eat and drink. I watched the train that came in from Cumberland MD; the engine was disconnected from the cars. They then placed the engine on a turn table, turned it around and was getting it ready to send it back to Cumberland. I rode back to Meyersdale, shortly after watching the show. The trip was somewhere between 32 and 34 miles round trip. If you plan to take this trip be sure to have plenty of fluids, there is no where that you could purchase drinks or snacks between the two towns.

The best part of this class is that it gets you looking for things to fit the topic for the day in your every day activities. I do not think I fully appreciated until now how many reall cool things are around me. My first thought for fluid was to use something with water. But as I was making some omlets for lunch, it hit me how fluid eggs were.

Principle of Work
Raw material is fed into the machine from the inlet and moves forward continuously along with the level of fluidized-bed under the action of vibration.The hot air passes through fluidized-bed and carries out heat exchange with damp raw material.Then the damp qir is exhausted out through cyclone separator and duster the dry raw material is discharged through discharge outlet.
Scope of Application
1.Pharmaceutical and chemical industries:all kinds of press table and granule,boric acid,borax,dihydroxybenzene,malic acid,maleic acid and so on;
2.foodstuff and constroction material industries:less,monosodium glutamate,edible sugar,edible salt,mine residue,bean,seeds and so on;
3.It can also used for raw materials to add up damp or cooling so on.
Features
1.Raw material is heated evently and heat exchange is fully used and dry capacity is high.Compared with ordinary drier,the energy can be saved about 30%.
2.The vibration is created by motor.It is stable in operation and convenient in maintenance,low noise and long life.
3.The fluidezed state is stable and no dead angle and phenomenon of broken out;
4.It is good in regulation and wide in suitablity.The thinckness of raw material layer and movable speed insode the machine and the amlitude can be adjusted through continous variable speed.
5.It is small for damaging the surface of raw material.The equipment can be used for drying raw materials that are easy broken.The drying effect can not be affected even if raw materials have anomaly shape;
6.It is effective to prevent from cross pollution between raw material and air because the quipment adapts fully closed structure.The environment of operation is clean.
