This is the setup for the previous 4 photographs showing the kite line tethered. The kite is a Sutton Flowform 30 'Becot' pictured here in crystal clear light on top of Garth Hill South Wales - Cardiff City and a moonrise in the background.
Brooxes Basic KAP Kit (frame plus cradle) with my G7. The whole contraption will bounce off the ground if the kite comes down gently but it's best not to make a habit of it.
This image was shot with a Nikon Coolpix A w/18mm lens suspended from the line of a Sutton Flowform 16 kite using a Kapshop Mod I rig.
The 'To Go' system with; camera, two kites, two KAP rigs, reel with line, binoculars, carabiners and rope and sling, watch, compass, windmeter, and comfortable pad / seat / backrest. Also included in the 'field KAP kit' is a small thermos of coffee :)
Total backpack weight (without coffee thermos) = 7.5#
