I love Irises! They remind me of growing up in the middle of the United States when they would bloom in the spring and winter would be gone. So one year I went out and bought a bunch at the store and enjoyed them for a few days here in California.
When I turn arround I am overwhelmed by one of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen.
The Rottumeroog salt marsh unfolds at my feet like a beautiful giant natural flower bouquet, as far as my eye can see.
The predominant purple-pink color of the sea asters are alternated with the fresh green of grasses and other salt marsh plants, alternated with the soft silver-grey leaves of the sea wormwood.
It is an unforgetable moment to see this dynamic area that is considered a rarity........
Why I think this is a beautiful world and I have much to be grateful for - friends who send me flowers while I heal from a small surgery.

This summer I have had the chance to do some nature photo shoots while also tooling around the tri-state area taking in a few day trips. In early August I was in Stockton, Illinois and stopped at the Woodbine Golf Course and Restaurant. It was a beautiful setting as I sat outside for some lunch. ‘Noisy’, as I could not remove the image noise to my satisfaction. But I like the yellow tone, so I uploaded the photo anyway.
Does anybody know the name of this purple flower? Happycat tried to help me, but we could not find out, which flower we should choose:)!

Tulips grow beautifully in my daughter's backyard. I was afraid that they might be gone before I could capture with my Canon Rebel Camera so I pulled out my Iphone 11 PRO and snapped a few shots, vowing to come back and take some macro shots with the Canon. I feel these actually turned out great but I did go back and get some very closeups called Macro that I can't wait to get off my camera and upload so I can share them. Tulips grow beautifully in my daughter's backyard. Earlier I took Photo Images with my IPhone 11 Pro which I uploaded here stating I would go back with my Canon. I did go back and get more photo images with my Canon, mostly Macro with Bokeh as the background. I love the coloring, the brightness of the red, the golden yellow of the variegated.
