The artichoke plant has 14 flowers on it this year, and 2 or 3 bees in each open flower, and lots of hoverflies too. All the years until now it has had only 2 or 3 flowers. I don't know what to do with artichokes so we have never eaten them, anyway I like their flowers. And I like seeing the bees on them, I love how furry they are when viewed large!
