...took a walk one day and went past the "tourist" area to a rather seedy part of town. I found a bunc of stuff washed up on Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana, DR.

As per Halifax.ca, Float by Brandon Vickerd (2023) consists of replicas of pool flotation devices cast in bronze and installed in locations around the Halifax Commons Aquatic Facility.
Really enjoyed sailing the Bahia. A bit tippy, but didn't have to make use of the masthead flotation : )
(Not us in the boat here; sea + camera probably not a good mix!)

This was taken at Tetney Lock on the same night as the photo directly previous in my photostream, and suffers the same high-noise due to some (unnamed) fool setting his ISO to 800 when it didn't need to be higher than about 200. Oops.
This is barely edited so I'm relatively pleased with it as it is, especially the central focus.
