Chorisia Speciosa; Palo Borracho; It's a native of Brazil and Argentina. It thrives in tropical environments, but it survives in droughts via all of those prickles that cover its swollen trunk. They carry water.

The tree can reach 30-50 feet tall. The trunk is covered in large spines (there are specimens with few or no spines). Floss Silk Tree is covered with pink flowers during fall and early winter. It is fast growing and drought tolerant. It is also briefly deciduous during winter. The Floss Silk Tree bears fruit that contains seeds embedded within silky fibers. Native to southern Brazil, Bolivia and Peru.

I had a dentist appointment a few days ago, where I was given a special mouthwash to use twice a day and a special paste to use once a day. Plus I've been instructed to make sure I brush twice a day and floss as hard as I possibly can, or else.
I don't think there's a single meal in my day that isn't tinged with the taste of mint at this point.
