I'm hoping to use some of this beautiful hand-dyed floss by Nell's Embroidery in my Crane Star quilt...
~Floss tagged by TwoFuzzySisters ~
Two names you go by:
1. Floss
2. BFF (but ONLY Olive may call me that)!!!
Two things you are wearing right now:
1. BK for dolls. This outfit was made just for me (I only wear designer)!
2. A dollymolly hair bow (again, I only wear designer)!
Two things you want right now very badly:
1. To make some trouble with my BFF Olive.....uh, I mean to have "fun" with my BFF Olive!
2. Cotton candy! I can NEVER get enough of it! I think I should get my own machine, don't you think?
Last two people you talked to on the phone:
1. I sneaked mom's cell phone and called Olive (we're going to Mexico together)!
2. I called The Candy Store! They deliver! Of course I asked for cotton candy! I think when the credit card bill comes in I might get in trouble though.....Hhhmmmm.......
Two things you did last night:
1. I sat on this danged shelf while mom took some of my sisters to auntie Iveta's house! I wouldn't talk to mom when she came home.
2. Started mapping out my plan to rid this house of the other "pinks"! After all, if you have me, you certainly don't need any other pinks, right??? But that crazy woman says there's more than enough room for all of us! Blah! :0(
Two things you are doing tomorrow:
1. I think I'll reposition myself on this here shelf so I can assert my dominance! Yes, yes, I think I'll do just that!
2. Definitely, I will reap the fruits of my labor and eat my cotton candy! Yum, yum!!!
Two favorite drinks:
1. Pink lemonade
2. Cotton candy martini (the pink one), but shhhhh, don't tell mom, I'll get in trouble!
Two random facts:
1. I like to pull the wool over mom's eyes by jacking her credit card to buy new outfits. Most of the time I get away with it! That woman buys so much Blythe stuff sometimes she forgets what she buys, so all the easier for me, right?
2. Really, I am not a bad little girl, I'm just a little spirited! Besides, I can't be bad if I happen to love "most" of my sisters, right? Although those frogs sure do talk a lot!
p.s. This background is mom's new luggage! We're going to travel in style when we go to BlytheCon! YAY!!!
Five dolls that will hopefully answer this (uh, I picked 6, is that okay?)...
Olive!!!
Gwyneth
Drew!!! Even though she's another "pink" she's my friend!!!

Capturing the essence of the phrase “pretty in pink,” the Silk Floss Tree easily stands out with its full leafy appearance and its gorgeous delicate flowers. The branches of this tree grow horizontally. The leaves each have about five to seven long leaflets. The real beauty, though, is the tree’s flowers. Each flower is pale and white in the center and then pink on the tips of each petal. The sweet nectar of the flowers is known to draw in monarch butterflies, adding to the loveliness of the tree. The best time to look out for this tree is between February and May, when the flowers are in bloom. The Silk Floss Tree also bears a unique fruit that is actually responsible for its name. The large fruits are brown and white oval-shaped pods that have black seeds inside. What really makes them special is the fluffy exterior, which resembles silk or cotton. While the silky fruit has been used to make stuffing, paper and ropes, the Silk Floss Tree is mostly grown for the aesthetic appeal. These trees are native to South America, specifically Brazil and Argentina. Be careful near these pretty trees, their branches and trunk are known to have sharp thorns and prickles.

When I was about 9yr's old I used to go with an aunt on Sunday school trips down to Bournemouth or Bognor or even Brighton. After we had eaten our sandy packed lunches I was allowed an ice-cream or candy floss (much to my Aunts disapproval) I can see and smell that sickly sweet intense sugar beauty now, dread to think what it did to my teeth but I just adored it .Anyway this reminds me of that !!!!
this is done with couching down fabric, both w/machine and hand. Embelishing w/floss and beads, about 18x24"

There is something so remarkable, and so striking, about a tree that stands alone. And the lone Sheoak of Binalong Bay is no exception.
An infamous figure who stands atop an orange lichen capped granite mound in the North Eastern region of Tasmania. I was lucky enough to visit this weathered icon back in May, where I was treated to this fairy floss delight on our first night in town.
Floss was the rescue baby who came to be in October, I had the pleasure of hand delivering her today which was awesome. I absolutely love how Harmonii styled her and I'm so pleased that I got the chance to restore her <3
I love how this project turned out... the flosses look great against the black background. I was going to put a coded message in a border, but I couldn't make a pattern that seemed to fit. I did put the message in the piece, but in a different way and I think the result is great!
The pattern is available for sale on my website and my etsy shop...
Wanted something from the night and it is too late to think properly what to post, so candy floss again:-)
