skotjay: @mimiwings Thanks. I've been wanting to try this combo for a bit now. I know what you mean about this being a place from childhood. Although I wasn't brought up on a farm like this, I was brought up on the water.

mimiwings: I love being near the water. Wish I'd grown up on the water. I grew up in the city with my Grandma. But I would visit my Mom sometimes, and she lived out in the country in Gainesville, TX. That's what this shot reminds me of.

skotjay: @oregongma definitely! Have you ever heard of BoltBus? They run a bus from Portland to Seattle, and vice versa. The prices vary, but round trip will run you about $20-$40. Not bad!
