Does this look like some model? Well, it really is the I-Flex building.
The behind-the-tinted glass shot gives it a slightly dull look, but I guess that gives it a kinda nice feel.

haha My adventure for today! I had to drive 80 mjiles over to Ann Arbor to pick up my 13yr old son from U of M youth football camp. I had to go allthe way around to the back end of the lot...and i see 2 Flexes already there...turned around and here came number 4..had to take a picture..jhaha I am home now..but have laundry and a gazillion things to do to start getting ready for our vacation to Myrtle Beach on Friday..i am taking a doll or two with me..so maybe i will have time for some pics on the beach next week! I miss you all..and promise i will be back soon! Am going to need a flickr fix big time soon!

In the middle of the city, on some blocks, but not all, you can find some of the coolest oldest houses. These are houses that have survived the growth of the city and have become part of the history and charm of Portland. I can imagine sitting on the porch as the rain comes down and watching the quiet city go by. It's charming, refreshing and relaxing...yeah, I kind of dug Portland.
First time flexing with a custom-made oblique pen holder by Brian Smith (made for a "hook over" lefty). Homemade Stark aleppo iron gall ink on Sugarmade paper. Spencerian style (or as close as I can get it at this newbie stage).

Petri Flex V with 55/2, 1961-1964. Almost perfect, all it needed was a new mirror bumper, although the front element of the lens was covered in tiny scratches from compulsive over-cleaning. There's also a fair amount of dirt in the viewfinder, probably because of disintegrating foam under the prism housing. Otherwise it does not seem to have had much use over the past 55 years! I probably won't take photos with this camera however, it's safer on the shelf!
(Update: I have since got a 55/1.8 for this camera which does not have the scratch problem.)
