Still cracking through the dancer shots to get them all finished and still have loads to do. I need a laptop so I can edit while I'm working in the shop, instead of listing to teenagers argue over Yugioh tactics!

one 580 exII @ around 1/4 power; 1/8 CTO gel; triggered via pocket wizard mini&flex; through a 60cm2 softbox, 90° to the cam's left, very close to the subject
Every time I get this little beaut out I feel good holding it, I have a 35mm 100asa film loaded and have taken a few pictures which should appear on a link on this picture soon. mind you compared to the Exacta VX1000 it is ancient, mirror stays up and blinds you for the aftershot so panorama shots i.e linking two similar pictures together is harder to compose.
but......it is a sweety..!
Cheap TLR-style camera, made c1947 of black bakelite. Not in great shape, but interesting nonetheless because of the metal faceplate, with its alternating stripes of brushed and polished chrome. The striped chrome motif is repeated on the viewfinder cover. A look through the viewfinder can be seen in this photo.
Same camera as the Metro-Flex, the Mirro-Flex, and the Clix-O-Flex, made by Metropolitan Industries, Chicago.
I have seen the Super-Flex and the Metro-Flex both with and without the metal faceplate. Behind the faceplate, the bakelite has a pebbled texture. From what I've seen, it would appear that when the cameras were assembled without the faceplate, they used a plain (non-striped) viewfinder cover.
