Well, I haven't been doing much photography lately, and that sucks. Been feeling a bit uninspired, and the weather is hasn't been great.. So today I went up to Sedona in hopes of finding some fall colors to shoot. There weren't really any, the leaves are just barely starting to turn in Oak Creek Canyon. We did some wheeling around, and I had to take my obligatory shot of the Taco.... This is really the only shot of the whole day that's even worth posting. Gave it some nice crazy HDR, the taco looks awesome like this.
Next weekend I'm going higher and farther -- hopefully find me some nice yellow aspens or something. The week after that I'm off to canyon country and will for sure find some nice yellow cottonwoods set against red rocks...
Anyway, just needed to drop in an upload something. I miss Flickr!!

A couple of weeks ago I was laced with two dope sketches from the homey Jaes in return for a sketch i dropped him.
One sketch was a flexin NY style letter piece that I really wanna take sometime on, the other was this funky lil' number that I felt was perfect for a quick spot.
I held onto the sketch for the last couple of weeks waiting for the right time to flex it, and a couple days ago came the perfect time.
punched it out quick, and those quick and spontaneous ones are always the most fun.
Whattup Jaes, hope you feel I did it justice. Your turn now bro!

Thanks to the rolling axle, the Faran retains good articulation on its front wheels. I actually had to restrain it a little to prevent too much articulation...

I had the camera in a U-GRIP with the remote release taped onto the handle.....Taking photos full mob single poled whist removing the camera last minute to avoid spray was a skill

Photo documentary of various on-the-edge "overland expeditions." Treacherous journeys; traveling deep into the forests of the North and South, on rocks, in mud, snow, on pavement filled with potholes and some other places in between...and a lot of pictures of my Jeep.
Had the second part to the Worldwide Workout DVD shoot today. Awesome set of guys once again, definitely had a good time.

The B-Boys piece I did at Los Vatos (later renamed the Strike and Dash yard by the younger generation) ran for about two years until some toy went over it. The bottom picture is some old school Albuquerque heads painting at Pee-Wee Daltons 20 years ago..in order is Tekno aka Saint, Jam, Terror, Era aka Briks, Dash aka Pesa, Desire aka Dumbo, Alone, kneeling is Aero who had a huge influence on my style, next to Aero is Revel who was crazy young at the time and mad talented, the one flexin his biceps is Mock, the one in the red shorts is Base who helped me big time in escaping from the cops while bombing the freeway one night, Giant was also there painting a skateboarding character ( I think he took the pic?) and while we were painting, a film crew showed up out of nowhere and interviewed Giant and I.. not sure who they were but I would love to see that video (I would probably get teary eyed haha). The Dash sign is from Dash detergent which they discontinued.

More of these to come as I avoid the joys of winter..... Chapped lips- MUD, cold hands - runny nose, chill blanes, hang nails, frozen windscreens, u'know those kinda things.

Photo taken in early March of 2023. Shoreline Mafia originated out of Los Angeles, California. Originally comprised of graffiti taggers who hung out together, they later started taking their music ventures seriously. The group broke up in 2020. I got to see them perform in Oakland, California in 2019. Coincidentally I worked a valet job as a high schooler nearby this lot located beneath the Marina Towers, occasionally we would also have to park vehicles down there.
