I have been waiting to shoot with SJ for months, big shoot planned, set pieces built, site booked, Make Up artist and stylist on set, me, Matt and Adam ready to roll, a few grands worth of lighting kit to play with..... and then it rains..... its an outside shoot, we hustle, we get the model and gear inside.....and then it hails.... and when SJ comes back out the trailer her killa stripper shoes sink right down into the grass.....
so we have to change plans quickly, end up shooting in a bentley, something completely different but hey she still looks smokin, and the days not wasted. But really, hail in August!?! today tho we get the keys to the new studio, Garage Studios- you'll hear and see from us soon as mr Delarge is flexin on the new website...... I finally picked up a Battle Beasts Triple Threat Snake, my first BB since I was a kid. Missing his weapon of course but no matter, he flexin'. And Sir Hiss has a fellow serpent to hang with.
Photo taken in early March of 2023. Shoreline Mafia originated out of Los Angeles, California. Originally comprised of graffiti taggers who hung out together, they later started taking their music ventures seriously. The group broke up in 2020. I got to see them perform in Oakland, California in 2019. Coincidentally I worked a valet job as a high schooler nearby this lot located beneath the Marina Towers, occasionally we would also have to park vehicles down there.
I would garner a guess that I am not alone in having the Loon, a classic symbol of the Canadian north, as their favourite bird. It's surreal song on tranquil summer evenings is without a doubt one of the most melancholic yet satisfying sounds. I recently spent most of two days spending time with a pair of Loons and it's chicks and had the opportunity to take some fantastic shots of these somewhat reclusive diving birds. Here is an uncropped shot of the female coming up from a dive and stretching her wings...
