Some of my flexible plastic straws.
Maybe view large, and thank you for your favourites. :)
I was dealing with bad light here on another dark day, but loving the flexibility of this hooded merganser as she preened. Siskiyou County, California
HMM…..Lots of variations of this— It is the one that hasn’t “lost” the links and clasp and is just about 2 inches across. There are/will be other possibilities for MM but I like this for its simplicity and the red heart ❤️ .

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "flexibles".
Small part of a silicone brush.
Shot with a Fuji "Fujinon-EFC II 64.5 mm F 6" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
The berries on this tree were harder to remove from the stem than the fruit on other trees. Contorting like this and then straightening up, while holding on to the berry, provides a bit of extra torque to twist the fruit off.

Origami Fireworks designed by Yami Yamauchi and folded by me using the excellent YouTube tutorial by Jo Nakashima.
To get a model which adheres to the Macro Mondays size rule I cut each standard 6" paper into four pieces. Twelve of these folded modules make up the finished ring.
The beauty in this modular work is in the flexible kaleidoscopic rotation. I tried to capture it in a video but settled on a composite drawing showing the stages of the turn.
In the words of the designer:
"One frequently only finds out how really enjoyable origami is after considerable acquaintance with it. Things never go smoothly in reading diagrams, folding, or creasing.
It is just like anything else in our life. Don't ever give up your dream of being good at it."

I'm having computer issues, so I may not be able to comment as much till I get it fixed. :-(
“If you can’t be flexible in life, you become irritable with life.” - Rubyanne. Happy Tree- mendous Tuesday!
Shown here twisted, but this cord easily pops back to a circle and can be worn around the wrist, or add a clip to attach it inside a purse, backpack, and other secure places.
Theme: "flexibles"
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you!
“A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.” ~ St. Basil ~
Stretching is critical to many with injuries, and to athletes who want to avoid injuries. This is a small part of a flexible exercise band being stretched against the blue of another band. HMM!
A possibility for the Macro Mondays theme of flexible. Drago is a dragon cellphone holder. His leg just fits within the 3 inch parameter.

Lies are like balloons - once you cross the flexibilities, it will bust! Let's not our truth hide behind the #flexibles of lies!
Sometimes that’s what I feel.
A wall. solid. No flexibility.
And me? Staring at it or pushing hard
with no response. Well
it’s a wall.
or maybe I'm the wall? That
ain't flexible? Not changing?
The say is "you need two
To Tango". So if I'm facing
A wall then some is facing me – as a wall.
When I will start accepting it’s a wall
All will be possible.
