Playing with 3 different sizes black colored paper and origami cats of course ;-)) These are flat models, you would have to support them to pose in 3D, but taking the picture with “Bird's Eye View” makes it look like they are sitting upright again .

Many of my go to props that I have, I liked the way the thread crossed the table of goodies, from the persona to the cork. The world is a stage 😊
Home sweet home, may be a synonym for pettiness, but also wat most people want in a life, a nice place under the sun to live. with their loved ones and pets.
Last year our last cats died shortly after each other, all three nineteen years old. life is a lot less fun without those critters!

These seed packets were a Christmas gift from my son. He knows how much I love sunflowers. I am going to have a ball planting this Spring! The height of the plants range from 2ft. to 14ft. Wish me luck!

Today I made some granola. It isn't my first time making granola but it is my first time making apple and cinnamon granola. The house smelled so good when it was baking. :)

Things that are special: First ceramics made by my grandchildren, a tin from Normandy, France given to us from our daughter/granddaughter's trip to Normandy. Rocks from Haifa, Israel and the angel my granddaughter gave me when she was just two years old.

I told myself not too long ago that I would never do another 365 (this will be my 4th) and then a few days ago, perhaps against my better judgement, I thought that maybe I would give it a try and if I did, I promised myself there would be absolutely no pressure and just do what I can. If I can't finish it, then that is ok. I already know I will not be posting daily and will be needing to play catch up - look at me already, one day behind in posting - haha! The rules of the project allows this and I am grateful. Life gets busy and I think we all need to go easier on ourselves. I do really enjoy taking and editing photos and the commitment of doing a 365 will push me to keep up with a pastime I enjoy. I plan on working with both my Nikon and my cell phone to take my photos. I enjoy doing macros, still life and flat lay photography so those will be mostly what I will be shooting.
So here I go, saying hello to 2023 and taking it one day at a time.

I have good dishes I never use. I take them out here or there for photography and then put them away in their zippered up protective bags and place them back in my cupboard. I feel bad that I never use them but after today I think I might change that. The greatest joy is the present moment so celebrate and use the good dishes!

This is a good way to get some feelings out...haha! I have been doing some Christmas baking and needed some crushed candy canes for decorating so this theme was certainly in good timing.

Hex wrenches, laid out in a kind of spiral I've seen before and just learned is similar to a Spiral of Theodorus. The wrenches range in size from .050" (1.27mm) to 3/8" (9.53mm).

A little more flat lay.... Dried my oranges using my Ninja Dehydrator... Great for decorations and photography.
Still not sure if I'm getting the hang of this 'flat lay' but I'm having lots of creative fun trying...

December is behaving badly. Ok, so maybe December is just behaving the way it should be - cold and snowy. I think when it is like this, it is a good time to stay inside, cuddle up and embrace the hygge lifestyle, don't you think? ☺️
