A great picture of the mountain range. We went through flathead pass which is all the way to the right of the picture.
I had no idea by looking at the map and satellite imagery alone that how enormous this lake is... I thought I would wake up and before breakfast I would do a circle around the lake on my bicycle, well, I took my car instead, went around the lake after breakfast, it was 97 miles!!! Yeah, good luck on bike! heh heh :D
This is a freshwater lake, water is really really clear, almost as clear as bottled water!!!

Up until the very, very end, I was in serious danger of this Flathead Snake being my best find for the field trip. Pretty sad.
