In the tradition of the original So-Cal bellytank lakester, this entry sports a flathead V8. Though the flathead is no longer the king of the salt and sand, there are still flathead records to beat and so people still run them.
This is actually a sort of faux bellytank car, as it appears to have been fabricated from scratch. Elsewhere in my photostream I have a photo of a true P-38 bellytank lakester.
These have gone through a lot.
Still nowhere near done with them.
10 and a half on and off months from my Flathead 1001's. If I wore them consistently, maybe I would get more pleasing results..

45ci Flathead, right side hand shift, left side throttle. I didnt meet the Owner, so I dont know the year.
