My dad used to haul bins of apples with truck in the 1970s. I shot this with film in the late 1990s.
These BW´s were taken, developed and enlarged by me back in 1969 - 1971. Showing Grindsted Railway Station, Denmark.
Approximately 60 years ago when I was a little lad someone gave me a scrapbook in which he had pasted dozens of images of trucks, vans, buses and trolleybuses.
They form a fascinating and unique collection.
The images come from a 1940s publication called "Motor Transport"
The car donation pickup guy showed up four hours late (no surprise considering what happened last time they were scheduled for the pickup), and when he saw my "narrow", 14ft-wide driveway leading up to my garage, he said, "That's too tight. I can't get the truck up there. Why don't you push the car down here and I'll load it up." So when I tried to move the car, it wouldn't budge. Yes, it was in neutral and yes the parking brake was released.
