Maryland & Delaware RS3m-1203 is about to cross the very busy West Stein Highway, Delaware Rt. 20. The lights are flashing on the grade crossing signals but the gates are not working. The Conductor is flagging the crossing. The MoPac Rendering Recycling Center facility is on the left.
three flashes ganged together via triple flash bracket camera left (8'o clock). translucent umbrella. one extra flash to act as kicker (10'o clock).
I rarely use my flash..still trying to figure it out...but it helped with this photo since the jay was in the shadows...Not a great bird shot (i.e. not in flight or up really close) but I like it as a nature shot with the soft background of trees...two more in comments, which the silly new flickr page now hides...
I was shooting this Bumblebees right after sunrise and it still had dew on it.
Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (over 2x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT with a Kaiser adjustable flash shoe on the "A" head (the key), E-TTL metering, -1/3 FEC, second curtain sync). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. I'm holding on to the Lavender stem with my left hand, and resting the lens on that same hand to keep the scene steady. I injected Agave nectar into the Lavender flower to give the critter a reason to let me get close.
It was a flash of green as it flew across my path. I was able to locate it via it's behind sticking out from the back of a leaf. I waited long enough for it to move where I could get a better look at it. I think this is a Angle-wing Katydid but I'm not sure.

I was snapping sunset pics the other evening and when I put them on my computer, I saw GREEN! Just dumb luck, but pretty cool.

By the very talented Ryan Evans
(Yes he enjoys a bit of Vinyl cutting on the side. No idea what the right name for that is, but he did help with my Stay Puft)
And don't you just love the clever use of Bananas?
so i have finally finished my
Flash.
As you may have noticce is the future flash suit that he is wearing in the series.
This has been a really hard figure so this is 100% painted (even the eyes) and the cowl is based of the mgf one with 3D lightning bolts,
Tell me know what you think about this figure because i'm really proud of how he tourned out , infact i think this version of the flash is the ultimate flash and i probably wont make another one.
I got a new Nissin i40 Flash for my Fuji X=T1 and was testing it on my desk. Of course my COO of cable management and chewing had to make sure I wasn't making any mistakes. Much to his surprise I used it off camera and placed it on my desk and bounced some light off a 16 foot ceiling and came up with this. Of course he hadn't seen a flash fired in a long time and was interested in why I was aiming it at the ceiling. Anyway, this is what came out of it and I thought it worth sharing.
Apparently the 2017 lightning pieces can fit inside the back of minifigure legs... to an extent. Sometimes they feel loose, but sometimes they feel secure enough to display. Thoughts?

For Macro Mondays, "socket."
The background lines are from a clear plastic container that held grape tomatoes.
The color is from a purple notebook.
The war between Apple and Flash (Adobe) is heating up by the day, and I always wanted to be a war photographer!
The focusing of this photo looks intentionally surreal and is the result of merging two separate exposures with different focusing. (check the Apple photo here and Flash version here)
18:15 train leaving Grange for Barrow. Just heading back from a walk along the prom at grange when the train was just leaving the station, just managed to get a couple of hand held shots with the help a of a fence post.
A Simple guy who loves simplicity !
Immense admiration for Flash & ActionScript, Of course beautiful girls are not devoid of that.....
Saved the best for last ;)

Managed to see some daylight at the end of the working day so a short drive took me to Sandbach Flashes.
I was hoping to capture a nice tree reflection on the flash with a nice coloured sky but they are frozen over!
Still posting this as my first shot in the 52 Photos 2017 group as the sky is nicely reflected on the ice.
From Left to Right: Pied Piper, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Mirror Master, and Weather Wizard.
All are customs except for Captain Cold.

This is a composite of 25 selected images, from my time lapse sequence, stacked for the light trails. Processed all images in Photoshop CS6 using Lighten mode for all the layers. Flattened image. Increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Topaz DeNoise to reduce noise. Topaz Clarity for additional boost in color and contrast.
The Flash almost knocked me and my camera over when he whizzed by! Have a great weekend everyone!

Check out a snippet of Reverse Flash in Injustice 2 here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUWlCjls6yw
Soooo I think I may have found my Injustice 2 main! Now for those of you who don't know, Reverse Flash is basically going to be an alternate costume of Flash, but with his own voice actor and dialogue. They showed off the Flash's moves today of the Injustice 2 Watchtower Livestream, and I was very impressed with the Flash, but I think I'm going to main Reverse Flash because he looks 100% cooler and he's my favorite Arrowverse character!
Anyways, I also wanted to announce that once all the characters are announced (which is basically just Joker at this point), I'm going to release my wishlist of premiere skins, which can just be alternate costumes, or whole new characters who could share a moveset. I'm also going to release a top 9 DLC character wishlist, so look forward to that!
Speaking of Reverse Flash, my Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Review should be up this weekend, so look forward to that!
