DREI is doubling up the Terre Haute train on the Egyptian line using the connection track with the Decatur line in Paris, IL. A perfectly sunny day, fresh clean paint scheme, and an eastbound in the morning were enough to break my 1-year photography drought. Thanks to CT for previous posts discussing operations for this train.

This one is from my yesterday play with the morning grass....

A SD60M and an original SD70M power the daily Atlanta - Detroit #288 north past Bridge on the Atlanta Terminal.

The other night offered a spectacular sunset. It was quite cloudy and dull in the evening. Until the sun appeared under the clouds, between the mountains that surround Laka Wakatipu. It created a nice glow that reached towards Queenstown.

Taken through my Solar Telescope- (Coronado Solar Max 60 II). The high flares in the 2 o'clock position extend about 72,000 miles out into space which would be the same height as 9 Earths stacked on top each other.

One of two of the Susie Q SD45s lead the southbound CLX along the Jamesville Reservoir as fall color peaks in the central New York area.

I just realized I never uploaded any photos from my time in Spain last summer.

So I'll do that now, once a day or once every two days until I run out (shouldn't take too long ha).

Showing some flair, SLSF SD45's 912 and 941 at the Frisco's KC, MO facilities on Sunday August 27, 1978. The coonskin nose logo and mandarin orange and white paint is looking pretty beat up, but BN green paint is not far off.

Three Wisconsin Central SD45's roll a southbound train at Junction 16 as they approach Belmont Ave. in Franklin Park. August 1995.
