This piece came from my homie jack sparking his lighter, and the flame being unexpectedly massive. This gave me the idea that everything can be unpredictable, and not what they may seem. The hand on this piece isn't as detailed as it could've been but I quite like the style of it. I used oil pastels and paint pens as the pastels create a more rugged look while the pens create perfectly smooth lines, a nice contrast I think. I like how the flame turned out, just used gradually lighter colours as I got to the middle of the flame, making it look like how it would in real life.
The little squiggle at the top is a design I thought of which comes under cyber sigilism. Just a doodle in this instance, but by far my favourite style of tattoo, heavily inspired by the 90s/y2k era. I think a lot of cool stuff came out back then, unlike nowadays, everything being made to look clean and follow the idea of minimalism, in other words boring. Back then stuff looked like it had character and was unique.
