This house was a major fixer (I had thought it was beyond any hope). All the other cars on the property are fixers. And this, I assume, is the reliable workhorse.

a few days ago the pin in the neck broke and Lily lost her head. After a little bit of thinking I had an idea how to fix it so that it still can be moved/tilt.
Photo from left to right
1. showing the neck with broken inner pin
2. I drilled a hole with the 1 mm drill. Important at the same position where the pin broke of.
3. The tiny hole I've made that backside of the body
4. I made the hole a little bit bigger to get the nail in.
5. Assembling the nail and "big pin"
6. I pulled the nail a little bit out and cut it of. To make sure the nail will end with the end of the body.
7. No pic - Sorry I've put tiny bit of hot glue onto of the nail. To make sure it would come of or damage the head. I've put all together an the head can tilt and the "nail" is hidden by the head.
Hope it will help you fix your girls body.

Feel free to ask questions
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse.
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you...

What are not seen on the fronts of these rows of shophouses include air vents, aircon units and what nots. And these men do the fixing and installations.

One day, while cruising down the avenue, I happened upon Clint working to restore power to the Monte Vista Motel's vintage neon. He was a cool guy and I learned more about neon signs talking to him. Thanks for having a look!
When I bought this doll I honestly thought it was gonna be easier, I totally understimated her 😂

I mentioned yesterday how a major issue is dominating this year's local government elections. Here it is: FIX THE MUD!
Now it has nothing at all to do with mud-slinging politicians for a change. No, this mud is the build up of silt in the Tamar River estuary. The next photo I post will show this in dramatic fashion, but these photographs at low tide illustrate a major problem for our Seaport.
Until the 1960s Launceston had a busy river port where cargo (especially wool) was transported up the Tamar and into Bass Strait. But eventually it became totally uneconomical to have to keep dredging the river.
Until the Trevallyn Dam was built in the early 1950s (to increase hydro power capabilities) water from the South Esk River would flood through the magnificent ancient Cataract Gorge and naturally flush the silt back out to sea. The Tamar estuary is Australia's longest at 70 kilometres long.
Many plans have been offered over the years and the one that would almost certainly right the problem would be to dismantle the dam. But since that won't happen, alternative proposals need to be found. This is where the Tamar Action Group candidates standing for election under the FIX THE MUD! banner have made a stand. tamaractiongroup.org.au/
The plan is a progressive one that concerns itself with the whole health of the Tamar Estuary.

At least the high tension wire tower is hidden by the chimney. I have passed this for almost 20 yrs promising myself I would stop to get the pic. About a week ago, I followed up. I never go by when I don't imagine what it would be like to buy it and fix it up.

Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And I...
Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And I...

I mended this puncture and did a couple of other jobs on my bike. I got it all together and set up in the stand, pumped up the rear tyre and after a while the valve let go from the tube. I did not have another tube of the right size. I said some choice words at this point.
