Neues aus von den Urlaubs-Radlern.
Mit den Rädern sollte es uns nur mal 6Km jenseits der Grenze, über einen Radweg führen,
und dann wieder durch unser Geburtsland zurück zum WOMO. Von Wegen. Kein Radweg, aber ne lange Baustelle. Der Stern knallte schon tagelang vom Firmament, falls man ihn durch den Staub überhaupt sehen konnte, und alle Deutsch waren am Sonntag wohl hier mit den PKW`s unterwegs, um uns zu Jagen.
Und kam rechts ein riesiger schneeweisser Sandberg und ne dicke fette abbiegende Strasse.
Nichts wie hin, wech von dieser Staub-Sauna!.
OK, da stand ein Schild wie: Hallo ihr Plattfuss-Indianer, dies ist nur ein Weg für 6-Achser und richtigen dicken Pneus. Egal, da war doch der Berg, und ganz ruhig war es auch.
Und auf dem Berg waren super Tierspuren, aber nur für unsere Stereo-Augen.
Nichts für die Lichtfallen.
Aber auch der Berg-Weg war verschlossen. Ende im Gelände!
Wo kam denn diese Radlerin her? Auf einem schmalen Weg war das Meisje aus Richtung Grenze gekommen.
Da geht es nach Hause und wir ab, die Spur ist noch heiss. Schieben ist auch keine Schande.
Und dann kam dieser Doppelberg mit dem Kran.
Mit Sicherheit haben die Holländer den nur für mich dahin geschoben. Danke!

Ja, wir haben Deutschland wieder gefunden. Es hätte uns landschaftlich nichts Besseres, Schöneres passieren können. Der alte Grenzweg war für Radler ne Wucht.
Zur Technik:
Mamiya Super 4,5x6, Stativ, Spiegelvorauslösung.
4,5/75-150mm Sekor ZOOM um 130mm f8, 1/250 Sekunde.
Warum diese Randabschattungen? Keine Ahnung.
Die Cokin-Gegenlichtringe waren angepasst (ab 110mm Brennweite) wie immer, aufgesteckt.
Auch innen sind sie mit Samt-DC-Fix ausgeschlagen, damit der Kunststoff bei kräftigem Gegenlicht nicht so spiegelt. Demnächst nehme ich einen Ring weniger.

I am so in love with that song. :) It really works well on me when I'm feeling all lost and depressed.
Well it only took three months (asbestos tile abatement was part of that), but the kitchen and dining room are redone after an unknown and obviously long-term ice maker water line leak. It's interesting how insurance covers things (they didn't pay for new cabinets but paid for the restoration company to take the old fronts off, build new boxes, and then attach the old fronts to the new box).
Early morning view of Parliament and Big Ben. Big Ben will be silent for the next 4 years, while renovations occur. I will miss that familiar bell toll when I w visit London now.
