today, 206 year ago, the Argentina was born...as an Utopia of land of peace and prosperity, and although the dream still are not complete, it remains plenty! as the Mount Fitz Roy in Patagonia
To the north of the Los Glaciares National Park are located the Fitz Roy ( Chalten for aboriginal ) of 3.405 msnm and the Tower of 3,128 masl, two of the most difficult mountains to climb in the world. The Fitz Roy is the main summit of a string that has the shape of a half moon opened by this, with a main shaft with North-South orientation. The massif is framed in the south by the Fitz Roy River valley and on the north by the River Electrical, who owes its name to the strength of the winds.
Its pyramid rocky, so perfect, is already visible from many kilometers before reaching its slopes: its slenderness harmonious, that part of the white glaciers extended to their feet; your game to hide among the clouds, thick and gray, vaporosas and ethereal, have achieved that, above all, might represent for many the Patagonian mountain more rich in history and certainly one of the peaks more scaled by the mountaineers that act in that region.
The view of Mount Fitz Roy taken from Las Águias hiking trail. Fitz Roy is a mountain located near the town of El Chaltén in southern Patagonia, on the border between Argentina and Chile. With its 3405 m, it is far from being one of the highest peaks of the Andes, but nevertheless it is one of the most difficult to climb.

Fitz Roy (Patagonia) 20240206
Mt. Fitz Roy is one of the most appreciated peaks by mountaineers worldwide. Its altitude is 3,405 m.
Mount Fitz Roy original name is Chaltén, that in Tehuelche dialect means “smoking mountain”. This is due to a rare aeolic phenomenon that makes its top always appear as it was surrounded by clouds, which gives the mountain a smoking volcano look.
