A native-style hut sits in the middle of a fish pen at a farm in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. This is one of the first organic farms in the area. Nueva Ecija is known as one the most prolific rice-producing provinces in the country.

you can see the road to the old pass, which is behind those mountains off to the left... now made fairly superfluous by the newest tunnel in the Westfjords, which first opened around this time (nov 2020) and bypasses this section of the old road.
