First time ever in the pool. July of 1999 . . . In reality pool was not the highlight of that trip. I was never really the person to stay somewhere (even pool for a long time). The real highlight was one of the local galleries. The owner came back from Africa not too long ago and as a gift he gave me African money (from different times) after I told him about my international money collection. I didn’t travel as a kid (of course) and even from Ukraine I started collecting money. First in my collection (early 90’s) was 25 American cents.
