ZAHS advanced band performs at Grandberry Mall
Zama American High School’s advanced band played for the first time in a local foreign national concert venue May 22 at Grandberry Mall.
Kevin Hanson, Zama American School band teacher, said he has been here nine years and they have been unable to find a venue off-base.
“For this performance opportunity, we had to send a video of the band to be asked/accepted to play,” said Hanson.
The symphonic band of 41 students played a variety of music to include some Disney movie themed music, Batman’s theme song and the Mission Impossible movie theme song.
Hanson said the mall manager was watching the crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
“We were invited to come back anytime,” said Hanson.

I have been given this lovely Rheia minifee headsculpt by my dear friend Ban (the enabler who finally got me to order one of my own! =D) And I decided to give her a little watercolor pencil face-up. I will NOT be doing the face-up on my incoming girl, as well...I cannot draw or paint to save my life. But I wanted to try it to give this gal a bit of life! It's not bad for a first time, but I look forward to getting a professional face-up for my incoming girl!

Last summer I went to the States for the very first time, and boy, what a great start! I fell in love with the ambiance of New York and instantly felt at home. R lives on Long Island and doesn't go to the city all that often, so we navigated the streets with uncertainty and curiosity, never knowing what to expect. Wondrous adventures!

Did some guy make a memorial to some long lost virginal girlfriend?
Did some woman make a sculpture memorializing the loss of her virginity?
Did someone create a masturbatory sculpture, then name it Geneva?
