If You Are Exhausted & A Nature Friendly, Looks Like Nature Indirectly Keeps Showing & Sending Energy To You.
I Was Really Really Exhausted & Moving Upwards In A Hill With The Help Of Two Sticks. As Most Of The Time, My Eyes Were On The Ground, I Noticed This Tiny Red Creature Crawling. At First, I Thought This Was Some Strange Spider! It's A Red Velvet Mite (Googled It ;-) ) !
As I Lifted It With The Help Of A Leaf, It Just Kept Falling Down, Even Couldn't Crawl At The Backside Of The Leaf.
The Red Mite Looks Like Screaming "Run! Run!! A Huge Giant Is Killing Me ... Help !!... Run!!!! I Didn't Hurt It Though! You Little Bug, Do You Think I Am A Killer Just Because I Was Wearing A Black Mask & A Cow-Boy Hat ? :-p

An indian father who brings his daughter for the first time at the beach. I was waiting for wonderment in the eyes of the girl, but the moment was so magical for her that I didn't have to wait long.
two weeks ago we went on a picnic to the city of Yanbo (Yanbu) by the Red sea,a trip organized by the University, almost a hundred students from multiple nationalities participated..among them some Afghanis..as Afghanistan is a landlocked country they didn't get a chance to look at the sea or swim in it back in their country, for most of them this was the first time they came close to the sea, they were amazed by the view in front of them, one of them actually tasted the sea water to see if it was really salty..they had great fun there
This is a shot from my first attempt studio series. Well, models were great, totally not prepared for my "improvised" set...I just said: "I'm going to studio, come on, I need you for my testing", and came as they were... with all their sense of humor & helpfulness.
Love you "sisters"! ;)
And thank you so much!
A big THANK to Pietro, who lent me his studio...and demostrated enormous PATIENCE! Hold on, my friend!

Last week, I had my first experience as an actor in a TV movie.
I had a small role as a rigorous Nordic Walking Instructor who, while doing exercises and walking units with her students, has to continually reprimand (both verbally and physically) the incessantly babbling and gossipping teacher and secretary of the local school.
The film's story is about a teacher, Anna, from Berlin who moves to a small Black Forest town, and with her new and unusual teaching methods stirs up the teachers at the local school and her pupils' parents. There's a love story involved as well, of course -- her landlord is a count with a sharp tongue with whom Anna continually fights verbally... and he's also a single father with his 8-year-old daughter Lilly in Anna's class.
Anna does not only set up new teaching methods (like meditations in class) and hire a new suspicious young caretaker with a criminal record for the school (with whom Anna's 22-year old daughter, who studies in a city close by falls in love), but also diagnoses the count's daughter Lilly as dyslexic, and therefore soon sets up all parents and teachers against her.
There's a happy end, of course, when everyone loves Anna, even (and especially) the count, and when Lilly does a thank-you rap with her classmates for her beloved teacher, but before that, the Black Forest people cannot stop gossipping and conspire about and against that strange woman from Berlin, even while doing Nordic walking -- and that's where my part comes in.
Three short scenes, but the shooting took a whole exhausting day long -- and was a very interesting experience!
(see more pics in the shooting a movie set)
But I draw the line at taking a photo of me changing a tire. Coryn, thanks for shooting this one!
This also fulfills several other goals.
One is to learn 10 new art techniques in 2010. I am about to make a book using Japanese Stitch Binding (I think that is what it is called) and first, I had to master the drill... or making holes to stitch my book into an actual book. This was SOOOO cool!

This Citrine Calcite formation is an incredible crystal formation found in Germany. The depth of colour is remarkable, and the crystals are in elongated strands that are densely packed. It is quite fragile - if you were to rub the outside, small shards would come off.
Many firsttime fishes for me in Japan including this male brown-lined puffer. Crappy angle, very cool fish.
6 dollars for as many minutes of pretend-your-car-is-a-submarine fun! Oh yeah, and a clean shine on the ol' Volvo.
Wearing my new wetsuit for the first time. Wearing it half on half off for our small walk to the beach. Cool, don't you think?
