I wouldn't base much off of these pictures, but in person I was able to compare the two. The contrast seems to have been just barely raised in the 1.1.1, and it could easily manifest itself quite badly in certain videos. I haven't spent a lot of time with the 1.1.1 touch, so I can't really make a firmjudgement, but I don't think it's incredibly noticeable in most cases.
The fact that we won't be getting true blacks anymore for no apparent reason is a bit disturbing though...
A new exciting announcement has been made by Canon with the release of the next firmware for the EOS R. Basically, there are some new features that go along with the update as well as some bug fixes.
