Ainda não foi desta vez que eu acertei tirar fotos BOAS de fogos de artifícios, Tentei de novo na noite de Ano Novo da minha janela fotografar os fogos que estouravam sobre a igreja da Penha. No ano passado eu estava em Foz do Iguaçu nesta mesma época e tentei o mesmo tipo de fotografia lá. As fotos de lá ficaram bem melhores ou um pouco menos ruim. Lá em Foz eu estava mais perto dos fogos e estava com uma DSRL (tenho medo de ficar na rua por causa dos possíveis tiros pro alto). Desta vez eu retirei o cartão de memória da Alpha a33 e não consegui achá-lo. A solução foi fotografar com a corajosa Sony HX 9 V, que se saiu até bem dentro das suas possibilidades eu é que preciso de mais técnica ou de mais oportunidades e treino. Isso me lembra bem as minhas primeiras tentativas de fotografar animais no Zoo do Rio de Janeiro. Foi um verdadeiro fracasso. Depois com o tempo e pratico eu fui pegando a técnica e consegui fazer ótimas fotos depois. Ainda também tenho que praticar mais com super macro fotografia, mais já consegui fazer umas fotos de flores bem razoáveis, é só procurar aqui na galeria pra ver. Outro projeto é fazer pintura com luz (light painting). Só consegui até agora fazer duas únicas fotos, mas há muito a que melhorar. Enquanto isso em 2013 continuarei fotografando arquitetura, paisagens, natureza,igrejas, museus, animais e o que mais aparecer

It was not this time yet that I managed to take GOOD firework shots, I tried again at New Year’s night to photograph from my window the firework over the Penha Church. Last year at the same time of the year I was in Foz do Iguaçu and I tried the same kind of shots, and I admit that the pictures then were a bit better or at least a little less worse. In Foz I was closer to the firework bursts and I had a DSRL (I fear being in open air due to possible gun shots). This time I had taken the memory card off from my Alpha a33 and I lost it. The solution was to shoot with the brave Sony HX 9 V which did a fairly good job. It’s me who needs more firework photography training, and I also need to improve my skills on this kind of photography. This reminds me of when I first tried to shoot animals at the zoo in Rio. It was a flop. Later, with more training and better practice I managed to take real nice pictures. I also have to improve my skills on super macro photography, but I have already taken some flower shots which are really beautiful, see them in my gallery here. Another project is to do some light painting. I‘ve only made it in two acceptable shots so far. There is much to improve. For the time being now in 2013, I’ll go on shooting architecture, views, nature, churches, museums, animals and whatever might come
