Originally VW's had a little rubber grommet in the firewall were the fuel line would pass through. Back in the day when you could take your classic VW to the dealer for service, they would check this grommet for damage and cracking and replace it for you. No one does that anymore. Well, as the heat from your #3 cylinder radiates upward, it heats up and cooks that little grommet until it dries up and falls out, leaving your metal fuel line to rub and chafe on the metal edge of your firewall. Eventually, your fuel line will be cut through and fuel will spray down over your hot cylinders resulting in a car-b-que.
Bob Hoover advocated replacing this rubber grommet with a more permanent solution. Using some barbed fittings, some threaded nuts and bolts, and fender washers, you can make something like what I have above. Your braided fuel line simple pushes on from each side and you can use hose clamps to keep them in place. If I had thought about it a little more, I would have put a fuel cock on one side to make shutting off the fuel supply easier during maintenance or an emergency.

Denver International Airport's free wi-fi has some super-weird decency standards. Why would the category "Art/Culture/Heritage" not be allowed by the administrator?! Other completely arbitrarily blocked websites: io9.com (sci-fi blog?), Nasty Nets.

Flanked by skinny built ins, This fireplace takes up almost the entire wall on the other end of the room. I could've laid down in in it. The ceilings are at least 10' high, so the proportions are not as overwhelming.
This is the artist’s concept of digital data breaking through the hole in a computer firewall.

The ideas within the artwork are -
The firewall as represented by the brick wall
The initial ‘hole’ in the firewall in the upper right
The chaos and violence that can be caused by such a security breach as represented by the overall splatter effect
The orderly but different data packets as shown by the semi-regularity
The scattering of discreet data bits as illustrated by discreet pixel data points throughout the artwork.
Even without those insightful tidbits, the concept as presented gets the point across quite well. I love the combination of the regular patterns and the splattered appearance; it looks very dynamic and the two different styles work well together!
