This is the third year I’ve found these rare bugs at Folkestone. I only counted 25, but it’s not an area I would explore more deeply without gloves on! There is a distinct change in vegetation in that Alexanders are very dominant, while mallow dominated in the previous years. I have no idea if this threatens the viability of the colony.
