Found last week by pure chance. Found a few on a plant resembling the wood-crane. Located in a park just by worthing beach. I was there the previous day, to my believe they had flown in some point between my 2 visits. Slight difference in markings to the short winged
Here's a detailed, if a bit overexposed, shot of a Pyrrhocoris Apterus (Firebug), taken on a stone bridge (I think) in Milichovsky Les in Haje, Prague. If I had had a proper Macro lens, as opposed to a macro zoom, I probably could have got a better shot, but I'm not going to worry about it.
