Macro Mondays, "School Supplies"

Did you know that Monarch butterflies are famous for their yearly migration, traveling up to 2,000 miles in 2 months? Zebra Pen has a partnership with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and they asked me to do this artwork for a social post. The theme for “Smile on Saturday” for the 18th of June is “infinity symbol”. As administrator of the group, Maria, said, such a symbol is not so easy to find, yet is easy to create. They do say “that if you don’t use it, you lose it”, and it has been a little while since I picked up my pencil and pens and did some drawing, so I decided to apply my artistic skills and draw the infinity symbol. I decided to be a little bit different and add to it the words live and love to it, which I have woven into the symbol, as I think it is important to live and to love to infinity. I’m sure you agree. I’ve surrounded my drawing with the tools I used to create it and my left hand, as my right hand was busy depressing the shutter for this shot. I hope you like my creation for this week’s theme, and that it brings a smile to your face.

Stabilo Fineliners - I'm a great fan of them.

No worries.......could be any number:-) I drew this free handed and.......dice are tricky:-) A sloppy experiment but I like it anyway.

Before this sketch, by turning 90°, I drew the castle. I was forced to stay in this shady spot as it was 30° C.
