At last Spring is blooming everywhere. And there's no snow in the forecast. Happy Earth Day, my friends! 💗
To be able to get some closeups I had to hold the camera mid-air in the same height as the flowers. I had new jeans on and didn't feel like lying down on my stomach in one of the hospital's flower beds - in that case they might commit me :)
On my walk yesterday I saw some lovely crocus. It seems that spring has finally decided to grace us with its presence. It'll be a while before there are summer flowers around, but for now this will do just fine.

Not my flower. But one I admired on a walk. Didn't have much of an aroma, but made up for it in color!
It's NOT raining, the sun is out, it's warm enough for shorts. And my kids want to watch spongebob, and refuse to have their photos taken. So I found these willing subjects. Yippie for sunshine.
Stores of flower bulbs and some nipped sprouts from bulbs were piled in more than 4 spots where the snow has melted. I've never seen such "damage" before…although some would call it a "bountiful feast", probably arranged by voles, perhaps rabbits, but luckily not completely devoured. I threw them into a box and will dry them out on newspapers for next fall…maybe put them into decorative pots with screens so little furry creatures can't get their paws on them. I'll probably find more piles underneath the rest of the snow. NTS ~ Don't spend any more $ on bulbs! :)

This is the first of my bird captures ;-}
Out for a spring drive in the country and took a tour through Sinclair bush, where the maple trees were releasing their sweet sap. There were dozens of these dotted throughout the bush.
