One of three photos (four if you count Unearthed) of Anima from Final Fantasy X.
Originally the human mother of Seymour Guado, Anima gave her life to become his personal summoned beast, a massive, tortured, mummified demonic creature with two heads (the other one is underneath). Anima is the focus of one of the best cut scenes in the entire game (look it up), and can later be found and recruited to fight at your side. She is HORRIFYING in action.
You know, committing suicide for your son does not win any "Mother of the Year" awards.

Vegnagun, a major plot point in Final Fantasy X-2 (Yes, the one with the pop music) is a gigantic robot created by Bevelle during the Machina Wars 1,000 years ago. The blue dot on its forehead is the cockpit, and a gigantic gun can sprout from its mouth, which is strong enough to destroy the world... which just seems strange if you want to, y'know, not lose.
NOTE: I am not making a comment about nuclear arms proliferation. By the way, the game might be silly, but I love its design! Maybe I should take a photo from the side, too.

Our shoot began at the outdoor terrace at the con, but due to the Epic Fire Alarm Saga of Otakon 2010, we ended up hoofing it to the Hyatt next door. It was a hard journey for me and ESPECIALLY for poor Shiva (in really high heels!). Would have been a lot easier if Yuna could have just summoned us :(
But, yeah, our group was huge and REALLY REALLY AMAZING. I love everybody in this epic group of epicness. A lot of us were in the FFVI group last year and had such a great time that we wanted to do it again. And guess what? We're grouping AGAIN for 2011!! :)
