2 years ago I started a project called Final Fantasy Lego. The objective was to recreate the Final Fantasy series in Lego using official and custom elements, as well as other things. So far I have made over 120 minifigs, 2 airships, and other various things, and to commemorate the project, I had a special Duplo brick made (kinda like how Lego makes special ones for events). On one side it displays my project logo. On the other side is the Black Mage, who is one of the iconic symbols of FF as well as my representative character in the community and also my first fig that I made. The figure is a remake of my original and he is holding a special printed plate of a Chocobo. This project wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for my fans and also for those that make custom stuff. So I wanna give special thanks to BrickForge, MMCB, Arealight, BrickArms, Kaminoan, Christo, Lamanda, BrickTW and CJBGraphics.
The 6 Job Classes that you can select in the First Final Fantasy were one of the first few figs I have made 3 years ago, due to their simplicity and my start to minfigi customization. The original figs were solely based on the sprites from NES version of Final Fantasy. And as you can see, they look very bleak and a bit boring. I consider these prototypes. Which is why I updated them to be more like their Dawn of Soul sprites (The Black and White mage were originally not part of this update, as these versions were actually made last year but are included with this phase). With these updated figs, they do look better. Of these figs, the Black Mage and Red Mage are my faves. Now the bottom pic is their newly reconstructed look, incorporating a lot of new custom parts and new Lego pieces. This reconstruction is moreso based on the originals and not the updates. Basically making the old look new. The White Mage I made an exception because I wanted a really good White Mage. Looking at these pics together, you can really see the evolution figs can take when getting updated.

Final Fantasy IX celebrates its 25th Anniversary today. The game starts with Vivi exploring the city of Alexandria with his ticket to see the play "I Want to Be Your Canary" being performed in honor of Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII's 16th birthday.
Final Fantasy IX was released on July 7th 2000 and was the last Final Fantasy game released for the original PlayStation. It is a fantastic game and easily in my top 3 favorites of the franchise. This particular scene has been one I've wanted to build for a couple of years. When I noticed the 25th Anniversary was approaching I made it a priority to get finished on time.

Instructions Available HERE for the Chocobo and carriage.
Cloud and Aerith see Tifa, in a Chocobo carriage, being taken to Don Corneo. Cloud wants to rescue her, but Tifa convinces him that she will be able to gain valuable intel this way. Aerith later convinces Cloud to continue on to Wall Market and sneak into Don Corneo's to help aid Tifa yet still give them a chance at the intel.
This is one of the few times I have gone back and revisited the same subject in a build. The original version was built in a few hours in 2020 for Day 2 of Rebellug's Vignette Week Contest.
I have since seen the original carriage available for sale from knockoff companies who stole my design. At first I thought about making instructions available for my original design, but I quickly realized that I might as well update it. This new version is much more accurate and proportionally correct. It has a full interior and benefits significantly from the extra design time. Instructions available on Rebrickable.

追加ディスクのポスターを作るつもりで、取り組んでみました。
姿勢から背景まで、10枚以上の合成写真です。枚数だけなら、過去最多かもしれません。 全ての画像を1枚に凝縮する難しさを思い知りました;1枚1枚が浮かないようにするのは大変です;
クオリティはソレほどでもありませんが、久しぶりに本気を出しました。
